Pilot Company is leveraging Altitude’s mobility analytics to prioritize a landmark investment of over $1 billion in enhancing and modernizing their travel center network.

Geotab Connect, Las Vegas, NV – February 12, 2026 –

Geotab® announced Pilot Company (“Pilot”) as the recipient of the inaugural Altitude Innovation Award at Geotab Connect 2026. Part of the 2026 Geotab Innovation Awards, this honor recognizes “Pilot” for strategically using commercial movement insights to better serve driver needs, driving higher levels of customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty across their fleet partnerships. This commitment to innovation sets a new standard for using operational data to improve the driver experience and support a safer, more productive industry.

As the largest network of travel centers in North America, “Pilot” has integrated Altitude’s mobility insights into its core strategy. By leveraging context-rich mobility analytics, the organization has been able to identify high-demand freight corridors and strategically build out its network to meet the evolving needs of the millions of drivers it serves daily.

“Pilot Company is a shining example of what happens when industry expertise meets data-driven innovation,” said Nate Veeh, Associate Vice President of Business Development at Altitude by Geotab. “By using our commercial vehicle insights to tackle complex challenges, they are not just growing their business—they are actively making the roads safer and more efficient for the entire trucking community. We are proud to name them as our first-ever Altitude Innovation Award winner.”

The award specifically highlights “Pilot”’s success in using operational fleet insights to address critical challenges across the industry affecting driver safety and productivity. Through data-informed site selection and facility expansion, “Pilot” ensures that resources are positioned exactly where they have the greatest impact on the driver experience.

“Our goal is to show drivers they matter at every turn, and the insights provided by Altitude have been instrumental in helping us deliver on that promise,” said Sam Edgmon, VP, Operations Business Development at Pilot Company. “By understanding how and where fleets are moving, we’ve been able to serve our customers better than ever and optimize our locations in the areas where it is needed most. This data-first approach is key to our commitment to keep North America’s commerce moving safely.”

In honor of “Pilot”‘s achievements, Geotab is also making a charitable donation as part of the 2026 awards program. Geotab has donated $2,500 to Girls Inc. of Tennessee Valley on behalf of “Pilot”.
